This was the first registered match of the season and we had18 shooters for this year’s season opener.  The rain and wind didn’t seem to dampen anyone’s enthusiasm to shoot.  The wind was as steady as I have seen it for years and it was almost like shooting in a tunnel.

The rain stopped in time for everyone to put their equipment away and the awards.  Ms. Bench awarded the trophy to Gregg Sweezy as the cameras clicked.

I appreciate everybody’s patience and would like to thank Darrel House who made the perpetual trophy and the keeper trophies for the Allen Bench Memorial matches... see you all next month.
